笑顔でつなぐ介護 ── 文化を越えた優しさの架け橋

高齢者の方々が安心して暮らせるように支えること――その思いを胸に、日本で介護の道を歩んでいます。2023年から日本語を学び始め、翌年には介護施設でのアルバイトを経験しました。そしてエクセレント嵯峨嵐山で本格的に働き始めてからは、毎日が新しい学びと挑戦の連続です。

With the hope of supporting the elderly so they can spend their remaining years in peace and dignity, I have been walking the path of caregiving in Japan. I began studying Japanese in 2023, and by the following year, I was gaining experience as a part-time worker in a caregiving facility. More recently, I started working here at Excellent, here in my current workplace, where every day has been filled with new challenges, growth, and joy.

フィリピンに根付いた「ホスピタリティ（おもてなし）」の心は、私の介護の原点です。利用者様に寄り添い、まるで家族のように接することを大切にしています。介助や日常の支援だけでなく、レクリエーション活動を通じて一緒に笑い合う時間は、私にとっても大きな喜びです。その笑顔が、疲れや不安を忘れさせてくれます。

The spirit of hospitality deeply rooted in my Filipino upbringing has become the foundation of my caregiving. I treat every user as if they were family, not only through daily support and assistance but also by sharing laughter during recreation activities. Those moments of joy remind me why I chose this path and give me strength even in times of fatigue.

言葉の壁に直面することもありますが、思いやりは必ず行動や表情で伝わると信じています。笑顔で目を見て接すること、耳を傾けること、そして心を込めて寄り添うことが、ご利用者様との信頼につながっています。

There are still moments when the language barrier feels difficult, but I believe that true compassion can be conveyed through actions, expressions, and a sincere smile. By listening carefully and being present with a kind heart, I build trust with each person I care for.

介護は決して簡単な仕事ではありません。しかし、毎日の小さな積み重ねが誰かの笑顔を生み、その方の人生を少しでも豊かにできる――その実感が、私に大きな力を与えてくれます。フィリピン人として培った心、日本で学んだ技術、その両方を生かしながら、文化を越えた優しさの架け橋となれるよう努力を続けていきます。

Caregiving is never easy, but every small effort has the power to brighten someone’s day and make their life more meaningful. The kindness I carry from the Philippines and the skills I continue to learn in Japan are what I hope to weave together, becoming a bridge of compassion that transcends cultures.
